Join the Northwest Credit Union Foundation and the NCUF in Support of Communities Affected by Hurricane Michael

Hurricane Michael – the most powerful hurricane on record to hit Florida’s Panhandle – struck on Oct. 10 as a Category 4, devastating entire communities in its wake with 155 mile-per-hour winds.
It also flooded other areas of southeastern United States, still suffering from Hurricane Florence, before making its way back out to sea as a tropical storm.
To assist credit union people affected by Hurricane Michael, your Northwest Credit Union Foundation is teaming up with the National Credit Union Foundation as they activate the online disaster relief system, CUAID.COOP to raise money for credit union employees and volunteers.
Credit union employees, volunteers, and members, as well as credit unions and credit union organizations across the United States, can contribute directly through the site.
Your Foundation is contributing $5,000 to seed the Northwest credit union community’s contributions to CUAID.COOP. We’re asking credit unions and credit union members to join our efforts.
“Our credit union family needs us during this trying time,” Foundation Executive Director, Sharee Adkins said. “We appreciate anything your credit union and your members can do to support our extended credit union family grappling with the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.”
