Workforce Housing Forums to Kick Off this Spring with Town Halls
Posted by Ben Shuey on February 26, 2019
Discuss the latest in industry trends, issues facing your credit union’s community, and network with other credit union leaders this spring and summer.
Your Association’s Town Halls provide credit union executives with the valuable opportunity to meet with Association staff, discuss industry trends and issues, and network with one another.
Town Halls will bring credit union leaders together this spring and summer at easy-to-get-to locations in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
Representatives from Northwest Chapters, the Young Professionals Network, and Global Women’s Leadership Network Sister Societies will share hosting duties at select Town Halls, setting the stage for grassroots leaders to dialogue and share information with local credit union executives.
“Credit unions will have the opportunity to receive the latest information on what’s happening within the Movement—and here in the Northwest there is a lot talk about,” said NWCUA President and CEO, Troy Stang. “Town Halls encourage open discussion, and create tactical strategies that help our communities and increase market share.”
In conjunction with a number of Town Halls, the Northwest Credit Union Foundation will host Workforce Housing Forums, providing credit unions and their community partners the opportunity to discuss local housing challenges and hear about ways the Foundation is partnering with credit unions to address the lack of access to workforce housing across the region.
All Town Hall events are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Workforce Housing Forums are scheduled from 1:30 to 4 p.m. See below for a list of dates and locations and visit the Town Halls webpage for a full schedule here.
