GoWest Foundation is hosting a virtual session on June 13 from 1-2:30 p.m. PT / 2-3:30 p.m. MT to discuss solutions to workforce housing initiatives.

As housing costs continue to rise across the West, credit unions are working collaboratively with community partners to design innovative solutions. This informative session will offer:

• An overview of workforce housing and its significance.
• An introduction to GoWest Foundation’s role in supporting workforce housing initiatives.
• A panel discussion with credit union leaders who have launched impactful workforce housing initiatives in collaboration with the GoWest Foundation.

Panelists include:

• BJ Coram and Sara Plumhoff, NuVista Federal Credit Union (Colorado) – NuVista has launched innovative housing solutions to serve their rural communities.
• Larry Ellifritz, Consolidated Community Credit Union (Oregon and Washington) – CCCU has deployed millions of dollars in ADU and ITIN mortgages.
• Jon Bruflat, Vantage West Credit Union (Arizona) – Vantage West has expanded financing opportunities to increase access to homeownership.
