Through the Credit Unions for Hunger Relief™ initiative, donations are made to local front-line organizations providing resources to help those impacted by food insecurity.

Credit unions participate by raising funds, with the ownership and the ability to structure their own unique effort with the distribution of funds.
The Foundation will match up to $100,000, allowing each participating credit union to receive up to $1,500 in matched funds.
Partner organizations are also able to contribute to the fund, increasing the opportunities to help locally.
Donations to local charities will come from the initiative on behalf of the local credit union.

Our Goal

The Credit Unions for Hunger Relief™ initiative is a way that credit unions in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming can leverage their individual efforts to help solve food insecurity in their local communities.

Employee payroll deduction
Social media advertising that encourages followers to make an online donation
Virtual Food Drive
Change donations (members are asked to “round up” and donate their change for Hunger Relief)
Silent auction at your annual meeting
